The issue shows up in all sorts of situations, where neither raw numbers nor percentages are quite right when the point is to aggregate them.

Unfortunately, since it’s TV, the mathematics won’t matter in any case: the winner will be the team who can sit still the longest when they pour on the live cockroaches.
