Robert Vallin at the MAA is running a math video contest (MathTube) for undergraduate students. Teams of up to three students can submit videos showing the “entertaining side” of mathematics. He cites the Finite Simple Group (of Order Two) YouTube video as an example of the kind of thing the judges are looking for.
The deadline for submission is December 7, so if you’re going to win this thing, you’d better get busy. (How cool would it be if one of our students did win?)
