Remember Pi Day Sudoku 2008? Well the folk at Brainfreeze Puzzles have done it again! Here’s their 2009 challenge:
Each row, column, and region contains the digits 1-9 exactly once plus three π symbols. There’s a printable .pdf file here.
As a bonus, if you send a correct solution in to Brainfreeze puzzles in the next couple months, you’re eligible for a drawing for their book on Color Sudoku! More details are on their website.

There’s a contest associated with this Sudoku, so we can’t post any solutions [or allow any solutions or links to solutions in the comments] until that deadline has passed (June 1). We’ll be sure to post a link after that, though.

These poor people sound like they’ve taken a beating while the rest of us have the pleasure to solve this at their leisure.
I can honestly say that from what I learned from solving last year’s Pi Day Sudoku challenge has helped me greatly with this one. I am very proud, but I also hope more people submit a solution this year.
